Trash and Recycling is picked up curbside every Monday by Pineland Construction. To ensure pick-up, all trash and recycling containers may be placed at the curb between 3:00 pm Sunday and no later than 5:30 am Monday morning. The containers must be removed from the front of the property by 7 pm Monday. If you have any questions or complaints about your trash/recycling pick up, please contact Pineland Construction at 609-263-1997.
Leaf bags are picked up curbside every Tuesday, and are not to exceed 30 lbs.
Branches are picked up curbside every Wednesday and do not have to be placed in bags or bundled.
Bulk Trash is collected at curbside twice a year on the last Mondays in April and September. The dates for 2025 are April 28 and September 29. Bulk trash DOES NOT include: tree stumps, yard waste, cast iron, metal pipes, demolition or construction material, car parts, electronics, paint and household hazardous waste.
Household trash, recycling, and bulk items can also be disposed of at the Cape May County Transfer Station (650 Shunpike Road, Burleigh). For hours of operation and items accepted at the Transfer Station, please click here: Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority.
