Cape May Point Emergency Signals - The fire siren signals several different emergencies in addition to fire calls:
Noon Test - At approximately noon daily the siren is activated for a single "wail." A wail is one cycle of the siren rising to a sustained pitch and then falling.
Fire Call - Fire 10-second wails
Flood/Storm Warning - 30-second wail - one minute pause - 30-second wail
Mandatory Evacuation - Twenty (20) 10-second wails in a row
