Construction Notice - Lehigh & Ocean Avenues

WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN ON OR ABOUT WED 2/26/25

Dear Resident/Business owner, 

Starting WED 2/26/25 (Weather Permitting) we will begin storm sewer and water main construction on Ocean Ave. 

This project was awarded by the Borough of Cape May Point. 

This project includes but not limited to: Stormwater improvements, installing a new water main and water service, concrete curb, road reconstruction, line striping, and topsoil restorations. 

The limits of construction on this phase of the project are: 
Ocean Ave from Yale Ave to Lincoln Ave 
Lehigh Ave from Lincoln Ave to Lighthouse Ave. 

For properties with water service from Ocean Ave and Lehigh Ave within the limits noted above, be advised there may be times when water service to your residence may be interrupted. If home, we will provide advanced notices for any shutdowns 

Please pay attention to the traffic control devices. 

We will provide access to all trash and recycling trucks so there will be no interference with pick-up schedules. We will do our best to minimize any inconvenience. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at 609-829-2131.
