A Message from the Cape May Community Food Closet
The following message is being shared on behalf of the Cape May Community Food Closet as a reminder about the important role they play in our community.
The Cape May Community Food Closet, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization since 2018, has been serving the community since 1982. We ensure that our neighbors have the nutritious food they need in Cape May, Cape May Point, West Cape May and Lower Township. Our mission is to fight hunger through procurement and distribution of groceries for qualified or low-income people, both on a regular schedule and an emergency basis. We distribute food every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at the First Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes Street in Cape May. On regular distribution days, our clients are assigned a time between 7:30 am and 12:30 pm to receive food. If you or anyone you know needs assistance, please call (609) 600-7715 or visit our website at Cape May Community Food Closet.

Remember to Call 811 Before You Dig!
Every 9 minutes, an underground utility is damaged due to failure to obtain a free mark-out. Failing to call NJ One Call for the proper mark-out ticket puts the health and safety of everyone at risk.
